2022

2022 Activism, Advocacy, & Authorship Symposium

April 1, 2022 @ 12:00PM to 2:00PM via Zoom

In collaboration with the GGU Race & Justice Task Force, we are hosting a showcase of our writers’ work set for April 1, 2022 @ 12PM via Zoom.

Current events and the last few years have fostered a newfound commitment to social justice in many students who want to leave the world a better place than they found it. At GGU’S Race, Gender, Sexuality, and Social Justice Law Journal, we are proud to spotlight those voices. While distrust in our pillar institutions remains high, our writers at the Journal seek to address these continuing injustices by focusing on our own four pillars: race, gender, sexuality, and social justice. Under each of these pillars, we have published work from our writers, bringing a unique perspective in each piece that serves as a reminder that a fresh perspective can make all the difference. Each piece furthers the cause of spotlighting issues that fall by the wayside in traditional spaces.

Log on to hear from Dean Crawford, the Inaugural Board Members, and finally, some of our writers, including former and current board members, who will discuss their pieces with one another. So, please join us for an engaging afternoon! Please register using the following form:
